Pacific Magazines will launch its first e-commerce site next Monday, linked exclusively to its monthly fashion title, InStyle, with a similar site for Bride to Be to launch in the coming weeks.

The online shopping launch, dubbed ShopIt!, will see InStyle oversee all aspects of the shopping experience from the display of products in the magazine to online purchase and home delivery, and will coincide with InStyle Australia’s 10th anniversary.

Available at www.instylemag.com.au/ShopIt, the store has been designed to offer a consistent brand experience across the print and online mastheads. From the April edition of InStyle, the magazine and online store will cross promote, with major monthly updates to ShopIt!coinciding with each new issue.

The online store will house over 1000 products from 30 designers at launch and will allow consumers to search via brand, price, product categories as well as “what’s new” and “editor’s pick.”

Kerrie McCallum, editor of InStyle, said: “Shop It! offers users a new level of accessibility to quality fashion items and acts as a user-friendly retail extension of the magazine. Shop It! allows us to ‘close the loop’ between the InStyle brand and the consumer, as we extend the integrity and trust of the brand into a tangible service in the retail environment.”

“The breadth of designers, range of price points and styles available on Shop It! is a breath of fresh air for fashion savvy, yet time-poor, Australian women.”

An integrated campaign will roll out to promote the launch including TVCs, point of sale advertising, social media, direct marketing and promotion across the magazine and website.
