With over a billion video views per day, YouTube certainly gets a lot of traffic. However with 20 hours of video's uploaded to YouTube every minute, getting your video in front of eyeballs can sometimes be a bit of a struggle.

YouTube has today launched Promoted Video's to help kick start your YouTube campaign. YouTube Promoted Video's works just like Google adsense, only with more movement and sound.

From the Google Australia Blog:

"With Promoted Videos, you can place your video next to relevant content on YouTube search results and watch pages as well as pages within Google's network of publisher sites. Like Google AdWords, Promoted Videos are targeted by keyword and priced on a cost-per-click basis."

YouTube have also built Call-to-Action overlays into Promoted Videos meaning advertisers will be able to add a clickable overlay to their Promoted Videos to drive traffic to your website off YouTube.

For more in depth information, YouTube will be holding a webinar on Thursday at 11am (Sydney time) or you can head over to AdWords to explore the feature yourself.
